I grew up in north Phoenix riding my bike everywhere — to school, to friends' houses, just to ride. It wasn't exercise. It was freedom.
Twenty years later I got back on a bike, this time on mountain trails and eventually gravel roads. When I discovered indoor training, everything clicked. I could get faster, more consistent, and more confident — and it became a real part of how I ride.
But I kept running into the same wall: fit. A bad fit doesn't just feel off, it hurts. I spent months guessing — raising the saddle, dropping the bars, reading conflicting advice from every corner of the internet. Everyone had their own answer. Nothing stuck.
I knew a professional fit was the gold standard. Nothing replaces it. But I couldn't book a fitting every time I swapped parts or dropped a few pounds. I wanted something I could actually use on a Tuesday when something didn't feel right.
So I built AxyZ.
It won't replace a pro fit. But it will give you a science-backed read on where you are today — and that's worth a lot when you're trying to figure out why your knee started aching after you put on a new saddle.
